I was recently approached by a referred client to re-design the logo for a research centre. They had a basic logo - which they liked, but wanted to see what could be done to tidy it up. The centre operates as part of the James Cook University and is therefore bound by the branding guidelines of the university.

Located close to the Daintree rainforest, considered one of the world's most oldest tropical rainforest, and the Great Barrier Reef - one of the world's largest living organisms, The centre is uniquely situated to discover and develop compounds of therapeutic potential. This was to be a key feature in the design and development of the brand.

I had a lot of fun with this project. Scribbling ideas and doing research. In the end, the client decided to keep the original style logo, with some small amendments.

Being able to provide high quality logo's and a complete style package allows the client to create professional documents and reports that that they can be proud of.
