Every year, the Department of Justice and Attorney-General holds a law week event to increase awareness of the department and promote it's many branches.
In 2016 The department changed its direction by holding a student/mentor relationship program calling on law students in high-schools and university to 'shadow' promote figures in the department. Participants would get a feel of what it's like to work in the industry, then document the journey they have.
The intention was that any photos, videos and journals completed during the week would be compiled into an online blog that would then be promoted within the department and social media showing off the journey these students had and what they learnt.
