I was asked to design the Australian Institute of Tropical Health and Medicine (AITHM) 2018 Annual report. Portraying the achievements and progress made buy the Institute throughout the year
The report is printed and shown on to many business partners, board members and interested parties through far north Queensland and Government.
I was instructed by the institute's contact to create a clean and professional representation of the organisation. The layout was to place a key focus on the various achievements and the stories behind them.
The colours and formations created from acrylic liquid art on canvas create an excellent companion with the patterns and colours formed from bacteria in a dish.
Creating a 'scientific like' artistic effect that can be the centre focus for the report.
Bliss2, a clean san serif, was used as part of the AITHM branding package. The font is also a clean modern sans serif that reflects the institutes philosophy. We also chose Adobe Garamond for accented text and headings, a classic serif to create a juxtaposition between modern style and a classic professional
Required colours for the AITHM mandatory band are grey and red. We've used this simple colour palette throughout the report to create a consistent look and feel.
